Westport Beekeepers will have a stand at Ballycroy National Park Sunday 19th August 2018


The Westport Beekeepers Association will have a stand in the Ballycroy National Park Visitor Centre, Co. Mayo on Sunday 19th August between 1.00pm and 6.00 pm we will have a demonstration hive and will be talking about bees and their role in the pollination of flowers and trees in Ireland.

Learn all about our pollinators, the role they play and the art of beekeeping, in conjunction with the Westport Beekeepers Association.

Have a look at some enclosed beehives, plant some wildflowers or grab a net yourself and see what lies in our meadow. A few more wild visitors may also make an appearance, stay tuned.
